'Let's Begin the Research...'

I'm sure you all know this already, but... The inevitable happened. I became a Kamen Rider fan. Not too long after I got my Tumblr account, I saw a bunch of Fourze stuff on my dashboard and thought it looked interesting, and before I knew it, I was hooked. Initially I only wanted to stick with Fourze, but one season led to another, so I became obsessed with Double as well, mainly because the premise got me interested. _{Here's to hoping I don't catch the brony virus as well.}

Anyway, this is Phillip (or Philip as it's officially spelled, though I like the two L variation better), my favorite of the two halves of the main Rider, just so I can get a hang of his design. I totally wish he was a real person: not only he's really cute and has excellent fashion sense (his closet is probably loaded with parkas and striped low-cut sweaters), but he's really intelligent, and from what I've read he can kick some serious booty when he wants to. To quote Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls ([link]): smart, cute, and tough, he's the whole package.

So... This is pretty much a reference drawing so I could get a hang of what he looks like. His hairdo, although really interesting and apparently really fluffy, is a real pain to draw. Makes me wonder how long he takes to get it ready in the morning... (Note of interest: his hairclips are actually paperclips, something that only adds onto his cuteness.)

The title of pic is because he's constantly doing researches; for those who don't know, he possesses the True Gaia Memory, which manifests itself inside his mind, taking the form of a library, but works more or less like a search engine (the crew behind KR Double even gave him the nickname "Human Google") as it needs keywords to get the information. Even so, he's new to certain concepts, and whenever he discovers something he's never heard of before, it sticks in his head for hours.
